Professional Certified Applicators of Long Island was established in 1983 by a concerned group of business owners and has been a strong voice for all certified applicators including arborists, landscape professionals, tree sprayers, exterminators, termite control companies, marine trades, cooling tower operators and suppliers with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation as well as State and Local Government. Working with these groups, PCA of LI has been able to forge a strong relationship with the D.E.C. and has been able to help formulate the laws that govern our industry. PCA of LI has been instrumental in the enactment of fair standards and laws and was involved with such important legislation as Contract Law, Posting Law, Termiticide Regulations, Neighbor Notification and numerous Pesticide Regulatory Issues.
